The CDC will host a Workshop on "Film-Related Materials in Archives - From Acquisition to Access" on 20-21 June 2025 in Bologna (MAMbo at the Cineteca di Bologna). Registrations are open until 20 April.

FIAF has created a Gender Observatory, the aims of which will be the collection, systematization, analysis, and dissemination of data and information related to gender issues that permeate and affect film heritage institutions around the world.

It is with great sadness that FIAF learned of the passing of Jean-Paul Gorce,successively administrator, artistic director, curator and then advisor to the Cinémathèque, who died on 8 February at the age of 77.

It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing on 2 October 2024 of Robert Rosen, the retired founding Director of the UCLA Film & Television Archive and a much-respected figure of the FIAF network from the 1970s to the 2010s.

Our South African colleague and former FIAF Execuitive Committee member Melisia Shinners passed away on 22 Janaury at the age of 72.
