Next FIAF Film Restoration Summer School

We are pleased to announce that the selection process for the 11th edition of the FIAF Film Restoration Summer School has concluded. We are delighted to share the list of selected participants.

This year's selection process proved to be very competitive. The remarkable volume and quality of applications received - 189 in total - led us to expand the selection from the customary 40 to an exceptional 51 participants. L'Immagine Ritrovata sincerely thanks all those who submitted their application.

The 11th FIAF Film Restoration Summer School, organized by Cineteca di Bologna, L'Immagine Ritrovata, FIAF and the Association des Cinémathèques Européennes (ACE), will take place in Bologna during summer 2026.

The institutions behind the Summer School have come together once again to strengthen their long-lasting cooperation and continue to share their expertise in film preservation and conservation with the international community. The Summer School is open to specialists, film archive staff and students looking to experience the complete restoration workflow in a specialized film restoration laboratory.
