2026 FIAF Congress in Rabat

As approved by the General Assembly in Montreal on 1 May 2025, the 2026 Congress will be hosted by the Cinémathèque marocaine and will take place in Rabat from 26 April to 1 May 2026. The Symposium, on the theme "Reimagining African and Arab Film Memory: Methodologies, Collaborations, Restitutions, and Dialogues", will take place on Monday 27 and Tuesday 28 April 2026. 2027 FIAF Congress in Berlin

The 2027 Congress will be hosted by the Deutsche Kinemathek and will take place in Berlin from Sunday 25 to Friday 30 April.

2028 FIAF Congress in San Sebastian

The 2028 Congress will be hosted by Euskadiko Filmategia - Filmoteca Vasca and will take place in San Sebastian from 30 April to 5 May (dates tbc).

The host of the 2029 Congress will be decided at the General Assembly in April 2026.
