P.K. Nair (1933-2016)

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of PK Nair, former director of the National Film Archive of India until his retirement in 1991, and a member of the FIAF Executive Committee in the 1980s. This sad news reaches on the 8th day of the 2016 Film Preservation & Restoration Workshop India, co-organized by the NFAI, the Film Heritage Foundation and FIAF and taking place in Pune until Sunday 6 March 2016.
