London’s Cinema Museum is devoted to keeping alive the spirit of cinema from the days before the multiplex. Set in historic surroundings in Kennington, close to the Elephant & Castle, the Cinema Museum houses a unique collection of artefacts, memorabilia and equipment that preserves the history and grandeur of cinema from the 1890s to the present day. The museum was given the prestigious Jean Mitry award in 2021 by Il Cinema Muto.

2026 FIAF Education & Outreach Autumn Lab

Applications to register for the second edition of this training event, to take place at the Deutsche Kinemathek in Berlin on 19 and 20 October 2025, are open until 31 August.

Maimouna Diouf (1993-2026)

FIAF is saddened to learn of the tragic passing of Maïmouna Diouf, archivist at the Direction de la Cinématographie et de l’Audiovisuel du Sénégal, and one of the speakers at the Symposium of the FIAF Congress in Rabat last April.

Projectionists’ Workshops 2026-27
