It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing on 2 October 2024 of Robert Rosen, the retired founding Director of the UCLA Film & Television Archive and a much-respected figure of the FIAF network from the 1970s to the 2010s.

The new round of funding is open to all members of the FIAF community until 31 October.

FIAF presented its 2024 FIAF Award to acclaimed German filmmaker Wim Wenders during a special ceremony in Budapest, Hungary, on 19 September 2024 as part of the 7th Budapest Classics Film Marathon.

Registrations are now open for the new Thursday Workshop “No database required: Storing and accessing metadata in a common/generic way”, to take place online on 17 October 2024.
