Membership Information

Current Executive Committee (EC)

The governing body of FIAF is the Executive Committee (EC) which is composed of 13 members (3 officers and 10 members) elected for a renewable 2 years mandate, which gathers twice a year, in Spring at the occasion of the FIAF Congress, and in Fall.
During the FIAF General Assembly, the President, the Secretary General and the Treasurer are elected separetly. The other members of the Executive Committee are elected amongst the FIAF Affiliates.

During the 67th FIAF Congress held in Pretoria, on April 10-16 2011, the General Assembly has voted the new Executive Committee for the period 2011-2013, as follows:

President : Mr. Eric le Roy, (Archives françaises du film du CNC, Bois d’Arcy - Paris)

Secretary General : Ms. Meg Labrum (National Film and Sound Archive, Canberra)

Treasurer : Mr. Patrick Loughney (Library of Congress, Washington)

- Ms. Mimi Gjorgoska-Ilievska, (Kinoteka Na Makedonija, Skopje)
- Mr. Dennis Maake, (South African National Film, Video and Sound Archives)
- Mr. Hisashi Okajima, Vice-President (National Film Center - National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo)
- Mr. Vladimir Opela, (Narodni Filmovy Archiv, Praha)

- Ms. Sylvia Frank (Cinematheque Ontario - The Film Reference Library, Toronto)

The next election of the Executive Committee will be held in Barcelona, at the occasion of the 69th FIAF Congress, on April 2013.
