The Executive Committee strongly feels that the annual report provides an important channel of communication. The reports to be published in 2010 will collectively describe FIAF’s activities up to the year 2009
.
The Executive Committee also recalls that, according to FIAF’s Statutes and Rules, the right to vote in the General Assembly is restricted to archives that have provided an annual report (Rule 33). This rule has been strictly enforced in Helsinki and Ljubljana, and the EC has voted to carry on strict observance in further conferences.

Therefore we urge you to submit a full report, and to do so by the deadline stipulated. You are invited to provide a description of your work over the past year, and encouraged to share information about both your successes and your problems. The annual report is also source material for the President's report to the GA.
