2016 Film Preservation & Restoration Workshop, India: FIAF Scholarships Announced

After a careful assessment of all the applications received, FIAF has awarded five scholarships to students from Indian and Bangladesh: Mr. Md. Rashedul Alam Gazi; Ms. Shruti Narayanswamy; Mr. Sachin Sharma; Ms. Vinita Negi; Ms. Ritika Popli.

As many as 81 students have applied to register for the workshop. 48 will be accepted.

The 2016 Film Preservation & Restoration Workshop, India will take place in Pune from 26 February - 6 March 2016. It is co-organized by the National Film Archive of India, the Film Heritage Foundation and FIAF, in association with L'Immagine Ritrovata, the George Eastman Museum and the Film Foundation's World Cinema Project.
